Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Prelp. Last updated 16 June 2026.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Prelp app and delivery service (the “Service”), operated by Stalwart Crest. By creating an account or using Prelp, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Prelp is a scheduled, batched-delivery service for Nigeria. Delivery runs are organised as “trains”: each train opens for orders, closes at a cut-off, and then departs, after which one rider buys and delivers every order on that run. You choose an open train, order from its shared catalog, pay, and receive your order.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Prelp. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date, including a valid delivery address and phone number.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@stalwartcrest.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Ordering through a train
- You can only order from a train while it is open. Once a train closes, ordering stops for that run.
- Prices are set by Prelp and calculated on our servers; the app never sets them. Applicable charges (such as delivery fee, item mark-up and service fee) are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Item availability isn't guaranteed. If an item turns out to be out of stock after you've paid, that line is refunded to your wallet and the rest of your order still goes out.
5. Pricing and payment
- All prices and payments are in Nigerian Naira (₦).
- You can pay by card or bank transfer through Paystack, or with wallet credit if your balance covers the order.
- By paying, you authorise the charge for your order and any disclosed fees.
- An order is confirmed only once your payment is confirmed to our servers. Closing the payment screen does not by itself confirm an order.
6. Wallet and refunds
- Your wallet holds store credit that you can spend on future orders within Prelp.
- The wallet is funded by refunds. It is not a bank account: there is no cash withdrawal and no separate top-up.
- Refunds are issued to your wallet and happen automatically on a qualifying event, for example when you cancel while the train is still open, an item is out of stock, or a train is cancelled.
- A refund will never exceed the amount you actually paid for that order.
7. Delivery and hand-off
- One rider delivers every order on a train. Delivery times depend on the train schedule and conditions on the day.
- Each order has a private 4-digit hand-off code shown in your app. At hand-off you read it out (or show it) to the rider, who enters it to confirm the order is really yours, so keep it private until then.
- If the rider can't reach you, your order may be dropped at a pickup point. Your app will show the pickup address and your code so you can collect it.
- You're responsible for providing an accurate address and being reachable for delivery.
8. Cancellations
- An unpaid order can simply be cancelled.
- If you cancel a paid order while the train is still open, it is refunded to your wallet.
- If Prelp cancels a train (for example, a vehicle breakdown), every undelivered paid order on it is automatically refunded to wallets.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to order prohibited or illegal items;
- attempt fraud, abuse the wallet or refund system, or interfere with payments;
- disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts;
- misuse, abuse or threaten riders or staff.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.
10. Availability and changes to the Service
We may add, change, suspend or remove features, catalogs, trains or pricing at any time. We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind about the Service, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prelp and Stalwart Crest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
